ACTIV B2G Conference model has served more than 10000 existing and aspiring Entrepreneurs SCST Entrepreneurs since 2012 across Tamilnadu.
The (ACTIV) Adidravidar Confederation of Trade and Industrial Vision is an Indian chamber of commerce for SCST entrepreneurs. Mr Thamizhazhagan Nallaiyan, a Madras University graduate in electrical and electronics engineering, founded ACTIV.
ACTIV has been working from Chennai since April 2012 for and by SCST entrepreneurs. They Conduct Seminars, webinars, conferences, Exhibitions, Networking Events, Start-up meetings, Pitch festivals, Investor Meet and Vendor Development Programmes.
THE B2G conference is nothing but about doing business with governments. The Public Procurement Policy (PPP) 2012 allows 4% reservation for SCST entrepreneurs to procure for CPSUs (Central Public Sector Units). PPP2012 brings orders value of around ₹ 4000 crores to SC ST Entrepreneurs.
From that moment, ACTIV has planned to spread awareness among SCST entrepreneurs in India and has started conducting B2G conferences. They work actively in southern India in places like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Puducherry, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
B2G Conference is connecting CPUs and SC ST Entrepreneurs from various Industries. NLC, IOCL, ICF, BHEL, BPCL, HPCL, ISRO Mahendragiri, and BEML participated in the ACTIV B2G Conference.
South Indian railway, ICF, IRCTC and Trichy Ponmalai railway are different wings of Indian Railways are also participated and displayed the products they are procuring.
A few ACTIV B2G conferences conducted in 2018 and 2019 have been recorded, as shown below, as a model to understand where B2B is also increasing among SCST entrepreneurs. The network of SCST entrepreneurs is also gradually expanding.
